Sound is very good in a decent-sized living room. Provides good sound for my bedroom tv.

Speech is crisp and clear. It sounds pretty good equalized as-is though. Hdmi-arc is invaluable.

Set-up is incredibly simple and makes watching t. V. Easy. Comes with mounting hardware so it can be wall-mounted.

This really pops the sound from your tv. All you have to do is adjust the audio settings.

Cons

Toshiba customer support is terrible. The instructions have no troubleshooting info. This stuff has so poor and not detailed scene of sound that i can not even endure it.

Competitiveness

Much better than a recent vizio that is similar that i purchased.

Compared to the tv speakers this is very nice and adds much bass.

You'd think that there would be a better mounting scheme for this thing, but there isn't.

My only comparison is the 50" tv speakers and a samsung 300 watt 2.
