I never usually use phone cases because i dont like the extra bulk and in particular i dont like the typical lip on the edge that makes it hard to touch the very edge of the screen

It isnt adding a lot of protection for the screen as it is has a minimal lip however the minimal lip in no way impacts your ability to touch the edges of the display

The buttons are not covered and with the case are flush with the case surface
