Pros

I have scrubbed and scrubbed both sides were the glue is.

The tree is done perfectly (of course -- lasers). It is laser etched design and had deep grooves running throughout tree. The side tunnels for catching juices (or swiping away unwanted parts) are an excellent addition.

I personally believe this is a more durable way to construct using bamboo. I feel like it is nicer to use on the flatter side. I'm a minimalist and think the plain parquet side is much more beautiful than the tree side.

Cons

The front and back of the board have big colorful labels glued on. I don't know where they found the glue, but i’ve been scrubbing and scrubbing, and i still can’t get it off the board.

Nothing that comes with the board says that it's not ok to turn it over and use the back for a standard cutting board; it works great.

This is a good quality piece that will get plenty of use but the etched side will be for display in only.

Price

The price is pretty high but it is a very solid and quality cutting board.

Packaging/appearance

What i didn't like is the double sided tape they used to hold the packaging to the board.

Competitiveness

It is a spendy item, but will likely leave you feeling its paid for itself within 3-5 years.

Gift reciever enjoys it on display only.

I just used food-grade mineral oil instead of buying their name-brand sealing oil; that's what i use on all my wood.
