Pros
This summer i am taking lessons at a facility that does not cancel lessons due to the heat. They're much cooler than my all suede pair that i have been using. Definitely a necessity for hot weather riding.
They fit well over my paddock boots and aren't loose. They keep my boot tops covered.
These are just as cool as advertised. The padded section is pretty thin, though.
These are very breathable. The mesh is very fine, and does keep out construction debris, but not fine dust. Extremely durable and easy to clean.
Cons
These are cheap, hideously ugly, and provide very little actual function or grip. They are wider than indicated and do not taper at all at the ankle, so they are incredibly loose everywhere except the widest part of the calf. The stitching came undone... Read More
Highlights
Quality
I cant speak to how durable the material is, i'll have to use them a while and report back, but so far, i'm happy with the result.
As a broke college student who also rides for my college equestrian team i needed an inexpensive but still good quality product.
Price
These are decent for the price you pay.
Packaging/appearance
They don't move at all during my ride, protect my legs from any stirrup leather pinches and help me feel more secure in the saddle.
Competitiveness
I use these for endurance riding over my ariat terrains and breeches.
At first i thought the ankles were huge, but they fit over my ariat terrains perfectly!
There is a non-stretch band at the top of each chap that i had to cut off and replace with fold-over elastic.
But honestly the mediums would've probably fit also.

Because they’re mesh it doesn’t pinch or restrict movement but they’re not a perfect fit

They’re definitely not fitted and while i don’t foresee them stretching out due to their composition i know they won’t fit if they do

Lastly the snap on the bottom is difficult to fasten

Four stars was because i bought two pairs in different sizes and still couldnt get them to fit my child correctly
