In fact, there could be a serious safety concern if one were to try to use the channel cutter with the blade facing and cutting inwards.

Better than i expected, hope it last longer than the other brands i bought.

As a professional bartender i use the tovolo comfort grip citrus knife and simply love its performance as a cutting tool however it loses a star as i purchased this for its channel cutter feature which fails in creating cocktailworthy lemon twists
