Quality
I wanted quality stainless handles and these are perfect!
It's beautiful, great quality, and has a really satisfying hand feel.
All the things a non-cooking person needs 😂 i saw some reviews about the quality being a little low on the silicone part.
Hopefully it will eventually come out, but does not interfere with quality of product.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging leaves a small amount of the plastic around the base of the silicone head.
I don’t know what tovolo was thinking applying a product label that way.
Competitiveness
I’ve purchased several tovolo items and have been consistently impressed.
Both my girls love them as well as their hubbies.
If you've gotten this far just buy it.

On this one the head does not come off so there is a serious potential for food to get between the handle and the blade which if you are like most people kinda weirds you out

Unfortunately after six months of normal use and cleaning dishwasher hand wash and sponge the plastic bit has started to chip and flake

When removing the label it tore in a way that a ring of thick paper was stuck between there
