But true to toyota quality this item is high quality and is designed to plug into existing wiring harness and does.
The quality of the parts provided was excellent.
I did have to look up the installation instructions online as they did not provide any with the kit.

It may look complicated as you take it out of the packaging but once you find the instructions, it's as easy as 1,2,3.

They should have installed these from the factory or at least pre-wired it so all you would have to do is install the actuator.

Works great some people say it’s a loud thud noise when it locks but i like it just cause i can hear it locking and unlocking and it’s not crazy loud

I recently bought the paragon tonneau cover and it locks but the tail gate did not unless by key

It’s very annoying that you pay so much for a new tundra and then get one freakin’ key to unlock the tailgate
