The quick release latch and spring render this product much less rugged than the standard hinge

Only use this if your bed extender interferes with your tonneau cover latches

Fortunately the hole locations of both hinges are identical so i’d suggest first installing the standard hinges

I removed the tail lights drilled the needed holes installed and tighten the hardware reinstall the tail light and attached the bed extender
