Pros & Cons
Pros
Used on my 2006 tacoma. Perfect fit to my 2008 fj cruiser.
Nice oem replacement belt. Oem part. Factory toyota with out the toyota price. I always stick w/oem parts do to their quality and long life.
Easy to do. Only need loosen tensioner and wiggle around fan blade and done.
Cons
Belt got wrapped around the crank pulley and broke the seal. Now truck is in the shop getting the belt replaced and a new crank seal.
Highlights
Quality
I always stick w/oem parts do to their quality and long life.
This one is stiffer and seems to be made from better materials oem is the only thing i would use on my taco!
I used gates for years and those would get all squeaky and fray on the sides and break within a year or so.
I've tried 3 after market belts, and all only lasted a year.
Price
Dealer ship wanted double the price i'm super glad i found this original band on amazon.
The cheapest belt i found for my 2007 toyota fj cruiser .
Factory toyota with out the toyota price.
Competitiveness
The belt was better quality and thicker than the aftermarket brand.
