If you understand these things, this is an incredibly effecient, dependable machine.
This machine is built of all metal internal parts so do not let the plastic external covers deceive you.
Year after year, there's not one job i haven't been able to complete beautifully with my toyota.
Price
The fact i saved a bunch of money just adds to my enjoyment of this hidden sewing gem!
The cost to repair was way more than i really wanted spend on the old singer after seeing it had nothing but plastic gears and parts in it.
Competitiveness
After i got it home, i found this machine to do a perfect stitch right off and compares very well to my 2000.
While i agree with a previous post the light could be better, it's a minor concern at this price.
