I would like to rate this a 5 but i have a 2017 tundra and the mirrors are not equipped to accommodate the blind spot monitor sensor

Since the mirrors are not compatible with the blind spot mirror feature an error message shows up on the 2017 tundra dashboard

That is corrected by pressing the button which is to the left of and below the steering column which will disable both the blind spot mirror function and the error message

Blind spot recognition is not really needed with the towing mirrors since there are two mirrors on each side and there really is not a blind spot
