Gbps speeds. All connections are cat 6 my lan card 1 gbs. Include all cable upgrade to cat6. Gbs with xfinity.

I have this installed in an older motherboard, which would not boot up and said no boot device (couldn't find ssd) once installed. My poweredge t30 bios was upgraded but rolled back to make use of the nvme slot on the motherboard.

Cons

Don't be fooled by the nice square cover, it is not a heat sink. Powering cycling my pc didn't resolve the problem nor did putting the card in another pci slot.

After wasting time messing with drivers for the out-of-date onboard ni, this multiplied my upload speed by orders of magnitude.

Tried new cables, drivers, windows tweaks, nothing worked.

After deleting the game and battlenet app, resetting modem and router, and eventually a full system reset, nothing worked.

Price

Decided to purchase this stand-alone ethernet network adapter for under $30.

Shipping

It arrived with both a tall and short slot cover and my server required the short one.

Packaging/appearance

Found it a bit strange it came with a cd, luckily it was not needed.

Competitiveness

I tried a few different adapters in this price range, and none of them worked with windows server.

I'm going to try out other brands and see what happens because i do need to buy another 15 or so.

Build quality is much better than the no names and the cost was not much higher.
