Slow and unreliable wifi. The devices are unresponsive and often have to be reset several times before they will allow connection to their admin interface again.

The missus wanted to work down the bottom of the garden during lockdown and i thought id have to run an ethernet cable down there as she uses video conferencing software all the time

If you dont and it gets struck by lightning you can guess the consequences to your router and whatever its connected to including your phone line

I had been using a powerline adapter kit to get data down to my summerhouse 40 yards from my house and it kind of worked but they arent really a good solution

The netflix app for windows wouldnt run as it determined the bandwidth too narrow to stream so i had to run it through the browser which is a bore

I was able to stream 720p from my server in the house but not 1080p
