Pros & Cons
Pros
Superior product. Does just as advertised! It works as expected. It is certainly the best solution i've found for the backyard so far.
For something so techy, i'm amazed at how simple it is to setup. Easy setup, reliable speeds. Super easy to install.
I have 3 separate kits (all av1200 but 2 with ac1200 and one with ac1750) deployed and max thruput i get from one of these is about 175 mbps. Getting 500-600mbps even with a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter. My office is on the first floor beneath where i l... Read More
One of the adapters has a built-in wi-fi range extender. It's easy to sync this with your existing router.
Great range extender. It definitely helps extend your range.
Cons
This unit is a dud. Had to reset the breaker because of the amount of power use. Wifi coverage is poor and network speeds are even worse.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to set up, works as expected, doubled up my internet speed where i did not have good signal
It works perfect and boost the signal too, very easy to install.
Being on two different circuits introduces signal degradation and interference.
The distance between the two, all the breakers and connections gave me doubt that this would work for me.
Price
After careful research, i settled on this one based on price and reviews, and i wasn't disappointed!
So you should get these ones if you have exising investment that you want to extend and also you get a decent price around $90.
If this didn't work i was going to have to go to a mesh network, which costs about 3 times as much.
It's a bit pricey, but worked great for my needs.
Shipping
I just received this a few days ago and have been using it for 2 days.
