Pros & Cons
Pros
Reviewer says he is very happy with his new router. He uses it for both bt adsl and bt vdsl. He also uses it to connect to his bt broadband. He says he has no problems with his isp.
Cons
The wifi signal from this router is appalling. You have to switch off the wifi on your device and switch on again to get it to reconnect. The 5 ghz is just too patchy to use, i have the router on a shelf in the middle of the house.
This problem is well documented on the tp-link forums. Talk talk emails are not recognised. It's a shame as i've always been happy with tp-link kit in the past.

Probably not an issue for a lot of people but it gets zero stars from me for the incorrect documentation

Also the firmware only allows a small number of reserved ip addresses which if you have a number of devices on your network that requires a fixed ip then you may not be able to reserve all the addresses

I should add that i followed the instructions for setup using wifi and these dont mention for numpties like me that on the computer you just need to click on the aerial symbol for internet access to get the process started and that the code number it requests is the one on the card in the box
