Pros

It has 2 usb ports and 3 separate channels for connectivity with each 5ghz lane being 1600 mhz speed equally. Great for wireless vr in my opinion. It has solid connectivity and i experienced zero drops in connections, wireless or wired.

Took a chance with this. Got it in november on a black friday sale. The nice esthetics of it is a bonus too. Their customer service is awesome.

Cons

This is by far the worst router i've ever had. For an expensive, high powered router, this is unacceptable. I am unable to install dd-wrt or tomato on the router to gain back some of those features as it is not powerful enough to support them.

Altogether an unsatisfactory experience. Well, it's just too darn early to say. That is pure bs.

The tp-link ac4000 has known power issues where it overheats and an internal fuse fails. Tech support is non existent. Without the assigned ssid, my devices work extremely inefficiently.

It is not that the router doesn't work, it is that there are intermittent disconnections from the wifis it broadcasts. I have a wifi 6 adapter card capable of 5400mbps throughput and with this router, it will not connect at any faster than 866/866.
