It isnt really compatible with very many that are available and work in the uk frequencies. The unit has the latest firmware installed, so it isn't that. But that's as far as it goes. This thing is just absolute junk.

The fact it’s powered from a usb makes it very mobile and you can just plug into a usb hub rather than another bulky psu.

I have a mikrotik device too but could never get that setup, in comparison the tplink is a doddle.
