Benicia extender provides 5g. No such issue with the spectrum internet provided router, but also have the (dis)pleasure of using a spectrum internet provided router. Good strong signal. Great reception for the camera application.

Cons

Do yourself a favor and buy a solid modern router instead of messing around with this stuff. Will not connect even when nest to my wifi router. Will probably be returning both the tp-link extender and the tt-link router.

A complete bust. Will be returning for a refund.

Having some trouble with the 5g extension but haven't bothered to fix it because that's not what i need it for.

Bought this wifi extender after first trying a netgear one that was 3x the price.
