I moved 6 months ago and very quickly found out that this device the wr902ac does not support any 5ghz wifi channels above 48 specifically it does not support any of the high channels 148165
I dont do a lot of traveling but got both devices for the flexibility of a small device that can be used as an access point a bridge repeater or a router ive used both in all those modes
I specifically got this so i could use it as a repeater to extend the reach of the 5ghz wifi network of my main router in my previous apartment where it worked fine there were no other 5ghz networks
