User interface is really good too, loads of settings if you want to tweak. Range is improved considerably as well. Hardware is far more capable than the stock software.

Bought through amazon at a really good price. Only quibble is that it doesn't have rubber feet which makes it slip around the shelf on which i placed it.



Cons

Wi-fi signal (while strong) also has a bug that means that the 5ghz channel reverts back to channel 36 no matter what channel you choose, at random intervals with no apparent reasons. One expects better from a 70+ pound router, especially considering ...  Read More

A noticeable speed drop. Very disappointing given its reviews online. Returned for a refund.

Tried setting up qos to prioritise my work machine during calls. Work brilliantly in first couple of days and then started to throttling the bandwidth to single digits. Stopped working after 8 months.

Tried static ip address, port forwarding for the ps4. Told me to disable smart connect and separately configure the 2. It seems the issue is only in the wi-fi and the ethernet is okay, but i need wi-fi, otherwise i could buy an ethernet hub.

    Replaced my virgin media hub 4 while that router can push out 5ghz it had a horrible latency between the router and devices using the router
