Pros
Tp-link 600 nano works well in my environment with an ancient laptop on which the existing wifi is a slow 2. Easy to use and easy to follow instructions to install. Can't fault it, highly recommended.
Cons

Tp-link is not compatible with win 10 x64. Not recognised out the box by ubuntu based installs. The downloadable driver (tp-link website) is source code which doesn't compile. It then works for about 20 seconds and then the it stops working.
This adapter is utterly hopeless, averaging 10mbps download and 5mbps upload on 40mbps fibre.

It wouldnt work correctly at first kept uninstalling and reinstalling but it wasnt until i disabled the computers own onboard wireless adapter that was pretty poor in the forts place

Had to retrieve lost files from an ancient pc as my father who is in his 90s had managed to delete his photograph library from his hard drive and the waste bin for good measure

Only discovered that it had no wifi capability after i had lugged it up the stairs to install in the only room with enough desk space to accommodate it
