Pros
Box includes a cd. Works with mac, windows & linux. The adapter is very sleek and shiny.
It works perfectly. It's positioned about 24ft from router and two concrete block walls inbetween. Beats having a built in wi-fi card any day. I have a new laptop from work, (hp 250 g8) and the internet would be * slow.
Cons
New gaming pc is barely usable for anything and definitely not usable for gaming. Driver problems with latest windows. Logitech mouse and bluetooth usb adaptor also taken out.
Even though it is faulty they refuse to provide a refund. While my broadband speed is above 30 megabits per second download speed. Returned to amazon for a refund, will get something else probably a decent router.

I purchased this small usb wireless dongle having read that it worked in linux and i'm delighted to say that it does, and extremely well.

Definitely and good buy at £7 if you need usb wireless for a computer using linux.

I ordered it from amazon and it was delivered 2 days later.
I contacted my isp and they confirmed that speed to the router was well above the guaranteed minimum.

A recent upgrade to full fibre broadband dis not improve download speeds on my dell desktop pc running windows 10 whereas my mobile and laptop and other tablets were performing much faster

They suggested i reduce the number of devices running on my home network but that had no effect

It was by sheer chance i discovered that the network adapter in my pc was single band only and apparently this is incapable of coping with the higher speeds

After a little research i found that an external usb adapter might help so i opted for the tplink ac1300 nano wireless mumimo usb 2
