Pros
I’m paying for 300mbps with comcast so these speeds are wonderful and just as good as using ethernet cables directly from the modem. My router is downstairs and the computer is upstairs.
One os for my home theater and the other 2 are for my mac and and computer/nas! Most importantly, they are very stable. Speed is good, but slows down, with distance.
Cons
Do not buy from this distributor. This is a refurbished product, yet nothing in the description tells you it is. Certified refurbished means nothing.

These powerline adapters are plug-n-play and they stabilized and improved my networking performance by a ton.
The powerline adapter work great and were easy to install.
Constant disconnects from customers or no audio was able to be heard from the person calling which was getting to be very frustrating.
Her ping is now flawless in-game and i'm no longer dealing with dropped connectivity.
Price
These are perfect for solving that problem at a fraction of the cost.
These renewed units are 20 bucks cheaper and work as well as new ones.
At the refurbished price, the ethernet cables purchase price was nearly paid for in savings.
If you really need it, then these are a good value.

Competitiveness
I'm getting around 100-200 mbps which is a lot better than the lower end models i tried.
Bought this over the av1000, big difference in speed.
I ordered the av2000 to do an apples to apples comparison.
I probably could have gotten the connection higher by tinkering around with different outlets but 88mbs is more than enough.

It turns out that air link works best if the pc is on a wired ethernet connection but his pc is upstairs and the router is downstairs

The setup and pairing were very easy but only one cat 5e ethernet cable was included

Powerline adapters are never going to get their advertised speeds so they should only be a last resort if you have no other options
