Pros & Cons
Pros
Mobile phone data connection seamlessly moves between each node when moving through house and across floors. No issues with sky q compare to nest wifi. Great wifi range.
Easy to install following downloaded app instructions. App is easy to use and enables management of 2. Gb of data. The app limits how much info you can get, and what you can do as a power user.
This brand of mesh wi-fi system is amazing. Mesh works great for wifi on things like phones and tablets. These seem to be a decent mesh setup.
Cons
Tp-link p9 wifi extender is not a true mesh wifi system. The range on the p9 is poorer than the m4. The tp link has to be so close to your hub, in order for it to work, that you'd need five of them to bounce a signal 10 yards.
I was compelled to write one for this system given how absolutely awful it is. Absolute rubbish. Not great. A real disappointment.
Highlights
Quality
Works fine via the ethernet so very happy with the speeds there, just disappointed that it still needed more wires than it suggested.
Set up is very easy with the app and we were up and running within 15 mins.
Competitiveness
Joshua at tp-link support live chat got it sorted for us.
With just two p9 units we have gone from 1mbps in some areas to over 50mbps.
