Pros
The two strips i installed are just as luminous as the lamp in the ceiling fan with three led bulbs. Much brighter than the competition. Comparable to their other bulbs. Only real downside is that they don't make turns easily.
Holy cow. It's totally unreal to me. Such nerdy goodness. All lights continue to work as expected. Everything else is awesome!
They are set-up to go on at sunset and to turn off at bedtime. When you take one of the preset effects, lower the brightness <50% and then save it to a quick favorites, it starts spazzing out and flashing crazy.
This is still the best mid-priced strip. The price is a bit daunting, but it is worth it. The pros include great value and performance.
Easy to install. Just plug the ends, unplug the lights, plug them back in, and turn them on. We have 6 of them setup in our built ins that hold snowglobes. The only thing that kasa needs to get on asap is have a corner connector.
Cons
Way over priced compared to other options. If i want 2 day shipping, it's $30. That is ridiculous.
However, the effects do not work and when i close the app and then reopen it, i'm unable to go back to the device settings due to device unreachable error and this happens after every reset. No third party apps, very limited.

I’ve been a big fan of kasa for years and i’m very happy with this product.
I have 3 of these lights and very pleased with the quality and the design.
Another issue is kasa developers are constantly messing with the app and breaking it.
Yes there are cheaper light strips out there but they are inferior in every way and most of all in the quality of the light they emit.
Price
Price is pretty insane, but for that price wish there was some connection options.
I won't be buying more at this price sadly.
Competitiveness
Especially nice at christmas when i run all of my christmas decorations on kasa products.

Most of the less expensive competition doesn't even have dedicated white leds.
The $40 for 6 feet of cable seemed a little expensive, considering other brands have 60ft strips for the same price, again though.
