This is not a gigabit switch this is a 100 megabit switch. It has a terrible failure mode where it simply starts dropping packets for 10 seconds or increasing latency to 400ms with 5% packet loss.

I replaced a really expensive ubiquiti switch with this and it was a life saver.

I would have gone with an 'indoor' version of this if i could find one with the same capabilities for around the same price.

Instead of trying to find a cheap usb print server,i opted for a switch that would handle 10/100/1000.
