The tp-link m7010 mi-fi works well in the van. Download the tpmifi app to test your connection. Will be put to the test during our forthcoming trip to europe.

A lot of time wasted here for no result.

Competitiveness
The apn was set automatically and speed was better than my phone in the same location indoors.
In comparison to other devices it’s obviously incredibly cheap but also very compact (much smaller than the average smart phone).
It always managed better signal than our phones with their uk sims.

Bought as my sky network phone is poor but this has a slightly better signal as its on 3 so better than nothing i suppose but not brilliant check service signals for your area befoe buying battery lasts about 8 hours so i leave it plugged in other than that with a better reception it would be perfect

Works great qe use smarty sim unlimited far cheaper than regular broadband packages 18 pound per month unlimited

Obviously it is only ever as good as the mobile network’s signal ee in our case but we have had very few dropouts and managed to work while we have been away

Charging doesn’t take long we tend to leave it plugged into the usb anyway so it has not run out of battery on us

Sizewise the tplink is fairly flat slightly thicker than an iphone and easily fits in a pocket
