Pros
It has a setup wizard that walks you through the whole (4 steps) process. Used it as wifi extender. We have 3 computers that use ethernet and this router has room to connect 4 ethernet cables.
Cons
Even plugging my computer in directly to an ethernet port in the router won't get a connection through. Internet dies sporadically. Needs to be reset at least once per day. Wan port is limited to 100mbps so that the internet speed you get would be 100... Read More
My worst acquisition here. Basically, it *. Lousy range too. Mine is garbage bound.
Cheap piece of cr@p. Not worth the hassle. But product is not upto the mark.
This newest model tl-wr841n router that i received is version 14. Version 14 has really been downgraded.
Highlights
Quality
Super easy set up and now have a stable connection for indoor/outdoor & ring camera.
Over the years these routers have provided a robust and dependable wifi signal with no issues.
I had even flashed dd-wrt to it and spent innumerable hours trying to accomplish this but no luck.
I'm not sure about the capacity, but we have up to 10 users at a time, plus a printer, accessing the tp link at the same time.
Price
For an inexpensive router it has excellent range and versatility.
This solves the problem and is priced right.
(kiss the warranty goodbye, but again, it was only $20.
For $20 it was certainly worth the risk.
Shipping
The model currently being shipped at amazon is version 14.
Took a little long to get from the west coast to the east coast but arrived within the scheduled timeframe.
Competitiveness
Works great, and 300n is good enough for this application.

I know it makes little sense but the thermostat can talk wirelessly to this router and this router is hard wired into the att gateway
