Pros

Omada wi-fi controller is a great way to get the most out of your home wi-fi. Perfect if you want seemless roaming wifi. Significantly more stable wifi since installing (over a single ap in the middle of the house).

The downside is of course that you need to connect each unit back to the network switch using a cat5 or 6 cable. While not necessary to have, it makes centrally managing any omada compatible tp link kit a lot easier. Feels more upgradable than a mesh ... Read More

Cons

Works for about 5 minutes then just disconnects from the cloud service and will not come back again until its rebooted. Secondly the android app that is supposed to notify you of any changes, doesn't.
