Reviews that claim no improvement or worse signal note that this antenna uses a rpsma connection which does not have a pin on the antenna side

This antenna will screw onto a rpsma or sma connector however only rpsma connector has a pin whereas the sma connector has no pin on the male side which means it will not make a proper connection with this antenna

In my case the little antenna on the network card was hidden from the wifi access point by the body of the towerstyle computer case
