To sum things up, it works! For the price, this does the job well. If you're looking for an affordable camera to keep tabs on a baby or your property then i think this one is a great deal. It’s a nice option.

Set up is fairly easy; you download an app (ios or android) which walks you through the configuration. First you need to attach this camera to your router using the cable. The pictures and videos are stored within the app itself.

Cons

No extra mounting hardware, just the default base. No meaningful error, no error code. Tp-link chose to connect to aws cloud servers using non-standard ports.

This camera constantly goes offline and the only way to get it back online is to reset it by unplugging it and then plugging it back in. The problem is that it needs to be reset so often that it is basically useless.

In the meantime, it is hard to recommend this. Kudos to amazon for making the return so easy. Returned for a refund.
