Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought these hard wired extenders as was having issues with my wi-fi connection. I live out in the sticks, and my broadband only manages around 12mbit/s.
Easy to install. Worth every penny to me. No complaints.
Plug the lan cable into the socket in the adapter and then into your router.
Cons
The adapter use the existing home electric wires and does not support wifi. You can plug the adapter into extension leads, but this doesn't help.
Av600 has only 10/100 ethernet ports. You will never achieve anything faster than 100mbps. Set up is easy and simple but there is a significant drop in 1gb broadband from the router.
These are frankly not for for purpose. Not really easy to install as they were not paired out of the box. Not suitable for my needs.

I looked at extenders boosters but wasnt confident about their reliability this is a direct passthrough which provides an ethernet point in a location the router cannot reach using the mains ring
