I actually set up an adhoc network just for the printer because it was so painfully slow trying to print through the normal network

A family member did some research and found out that the signal can go across different circuits it just cant travel through a transformer

I plugged one half into the modem downstairs and plugged the other one in nearby so i could pair them

I then took the second half and plugged it in out in the office and plugged the extender into the ethernet jack in the bottom
