I wanted to set up the r470t in failover mode between two unreliable broadband services

I was uncertain if this device would be able to connect to these on the wan side but that was easy it recognized the bt home hub as an internet feed once id realized that it needs its own ip address on each subnet and the satellite was even easier set as a dynamic ip it quickly found the connection settings

The only issue i have is detecting that the bt internet feed has gone down i readup and followed the instructions about changing the detection method to manual but it still doesnt register when the dsl signal fails there may be something im missing but my next guess is that replacing the homehub with a simpler adsl modem will probably be the answer
