I was able to find online forums from other it companies with useful setup suggestions.
I have 1 gbps-down and 30 mbps-up service from my isp, but the best i'm getting through this router is 400 mbps-down and 30 mbps-up.

I recently upgraded to 400mbps and it stopped right there im unable to have more than 350360mbps throughput from the lan to the wan

The tplink website lists a version 3 as well but its probably so new we wont see them until the version 2 stock is depleted

Im not using vpn or any of the remote access features so what im really after here is the firewall to keep the nasties out

Once in i set the routers lan address to match my private lan and rebooted the router

My file shares were visible the windows network dialog found everything and i had internet access on all 3 systems
