Competitiveness
I now have three tp-link switches in various rooms in house and the connections are super fast.
This tp-link 8 port switch is of course also metal and just feels good quality; but at half the price!
I replaced a zyxel switch which was constantly failing with this.
Has a 240v iec mains socket on the rear, so no external power supply needed.

The unit is very well constructed in a metal case and doesnt seem to become even slightly warm to the touch despite the built in transformer
