Definitely competes with brands like netgear or belkin. Facile d'installation (à la plug-and-play). Easy to install rack mounted unmanaged switch.

Small footprint metal case. Metal case gives a pro sturdy feeling.
Cons
Not even worth the effort trying to initiate a warranty claim. Doesn't power up the unit. Does not work on mac laptop.

In terms of installation - just had to plug into power and the ethernet cables and it worked out of the box with no intervention.

I honestly didnt have much need for the more advanced networking and ended up having a flat network in the end

Everything works great now but the lan lines will put a strain on wifi from time to time such as homekit

I started with a 16 port unit for my house but after you include washerdryers oven fridge tvs computers etc
