Pros & Cons
Pros
This plug and play works perfectly and delivers a 2. Hour battery life. Has five ethernet points so we were able to put in the ethernet source and then run four pieces of equipment from it.
I have a nighthawk mesh system with two satellites, both of which have one ethernet lan port. Purchased to deal with vlan tagging issues between openreach fttc. Port 1 was configured as the mirror port.
Five port v5 metal cased switches are a delight to use, robust and solid. Great for extending my network doelwnstairs from my loft-based router. Create the vlans on the router, tag them on the switch.
Highlights
Quality
Did what promised and helped me with the clutter of cables
Good quality and strong i like them
Packaging/appearance
The forth photo shows the box they are packaged in, well made and sturdy packaging with a uk based support address.
This is nice and compact so can be tucked out of the way.
Competitiveness
Over the years i have always enjoyed using tp-link products.
I have bought two off these and haven't had any problems and bought the at a reasonable price
The manual is decent enough but the on-line tp-link site provides more detail.
So why drop a star in the ratings.
