Pros

The listing says it requires lithium batteries, but don't worry, it came with an ac wall adapter. Great response even when taxed with a game console, pc and streaming music simultaneously.

It has 8 ports, but 1 is used for the router cable. This makes sense for most rack mounting options, but this is a small guy and it might be better to have all on one side for mounting. It also has enough slots for a few other items i wish to connect....  Read More

A plug and play gigabyte switch, metal, with a useful built-in manager to check the quality of your network. It provides a nice indicator on whether the ethernet cable is conducting traffic or if it's kaput. Support to change a switch ip address.

Cons

Both the product disconnect internet. Configuring vlans produces a very odd behaviour.

This model is out of date and apparently no longer receives patches. Don’t waste your time on this version and go for something more capable and supported.

Price

Tp-link is a quality product that i have used professionally for years.

- i got this on sale; i feel the device's retail price is a little over average, but i don't shop for network hardware often.

Packaging/appearance

Worked perfectly right out of the box.

Competitiveness

With this i am able to connect them to my router via cat6 cable.

I give it a 4 star for the fact that it didn’t come with pre-drill holes to attach to a server rack.
