I have it acting as my computer's wifi dongle basically through one of the settings in the router. It picks up the wifi strength really well and delivers great speeds through 5ghz wifi band.

Price
This brand is my go to for reliable and low cost i have 3 units (one of these and two plug based ones).
I think this was cheap though i can't speak for price of equivalent products.
Sure you get what you pay for; but it works well and for the price you can’t really go wrong.
