This thing is incredible. It's been working flawlessly for 2 months now. Took 2 mins to setup with router.
Cons
Data transfer averages out at a reasonable rate, but regularly drops to 0 bps. The product is especially no use for any kind of video-conferencing. It's incredibly incompatible and really unreliable.
The tp-link tp-link doesn't work when plugged into a 13 amp socket. The problem is especially apparent if the device is in a different room. While tp link say the setup copies your router settings, you can't, it doesn't.
Powerline devices have less wireless strength than normal routers. My home office is other end of house to router and wifi signal is low. Only pulls 64mbps from over 200mbps at the router.

And it seems to cope with the demand fine.
I think tp-link would do well to either provide more comprehensive instructions with the product or a web address to troubleshoot.
That is only a minor point and he is happy with the unit.

You can use the app to easily change the wifi network details i set the ssid and password to match my router and my phone now switches between the two seamlessly as i walk around the house

Vodafone left us and many others in the lurch when they unilaterally ended their suresignal service this equipment replaces this and reinstates a perfect wifi calling service

I got this set just after trying a wifi range booster which was also by tp link and was absolutely awful

Now the only reason this is a 4 star is because in the box there were only cat 5 cables which can only give you a max of 100mbps

After a chat with tp links livechat support which took pretty long to load i had to disable power saving mode so if your having any problems try that
