This is my second tp link and i'm very pleased with the product.
Very happy with the cost-to-value of this unit.
Thankfully, there are some instructions online, as well as a few videos, that helped with the process.
Set-up is simple with the included card.
Packaging/appearance
Plug in, wait for solid blue light, scan wifi on my android phone, type in password provided on card in packaging, goto tplinklogin.
Competitiveness
I installed a zmodo camera system in my house, and needed a lan in the utility closet where i keep the dvr.
I don't have to worry about anybody's router or wifi information.

Lastly the one issue i will say not to do with this device is to use it on a multiap network

The latest gateway provided by my isp works well in my house but has the annoying limitation of not having a guest network capability

Last week i had the one that connects my security camera dvr to my home network die and after wasting a few hours trying to configure a dlink and netgear router as a wireless client took to amazon and wound up ordering this tlwr700n to replace the apple airport express which was around 100 for the new model

I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of setup this device provides as when working with nonapple devices im used to long delays cursing multiple resets and even possibly having to resort to using an older pc running windows 7 and internet explorer to able to make it though the setup

For the tlwr700n i was able to make it through just using my iphone and connecting to the default wireless network the device provides

After setting it in client mode and connecting it to my dvr via its ethernet cable i just needed to wait until the status light turned green the documentation said blue but i suspect there may be a variation from model to model and bang i was able to connect to my dvr again the whole process took less than 30 minutes
