I upgraded the firmware from the tp-link site without any problem.

Great router, modified it with dd-wrt and it really works more effecient than stock
This is my second tp-link router, and i would certainly buy another if i needed one.
Now the cons:the software would not allow me to get beyond the network status check-which failed.
I have a small/medium sized home and was using a 150mpbs dlink router for the past 6 years.

Ill make a list of why this is 5 stars easy instalation it took me 10 minutes to make it work including setting my own wifi network name and password

Ciscos had 2 got burned by use thomson and broadtech both disconnected my devices when they were hot after a couple hours working like network playing through my ps3 on the first moth of use and nexxt was a pain in the a with new devices on wifi it kept asking for the password for at least the first 12 connections
