Price
I'm getting full speed that i paid for upstairs with a mesh network setup, though expensive, i'm very happy with the performance.
" to be honest, for me, even though i am here extolling its praises, it would not be worth the price.
I spent $1500 on that last year and would constantly stop working.
Wish the price was less, but the cost of being on the leading edge
Shipping
The two new routers showed up very quickly and without any issues or delays.
I received quick and helpful information i needed for installation of 2nd deco network.
I changed this router and got 500mbps upstairs and 300mbps downstairs.
The download speed of the previous mesh router upstairs was 434mbps.
Packaging/appearance
The deco comes packaged in a very nice, easy-to-open container.
These are premium devices and everything about the packaging, presentation, and performance says so.
Also, opening the box makes me feel like i’m opening up an expensive bottle of whiskey lol.
Competitiveness
So far we are very happy with the tp-link deco and consider it much better product than the velop.
The 6ghz band offers higher speeds and reliability compared to the other two traditional bands and deco be85 makes good use of it.
I have a 2gbps internet connection down and up and compared the tplink be85 to eero pro 6e and axe300 + re815xe.
The 5 ghz performance is at 80%-85% of maximum provider speed.
