Pros

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Worked straight outta the box. Works perfectly on windows 7 laptop. It definitely does what it written on the product label.

Easy to set up, plug and go. Can use my laptop by plugging into the router rather than using the wifi.

Not as quick as a full gb connection, but a simple alternative. Upgraded from a usb 3. To a usb3 ethernet adaptor.

Tp-link road warrior adaptor has three usb ports and an inbuilt ethernet port. Works with linux and windows 10 without issue (or fiddling for drivers) it does cause reboots when hot-swapping in some versions of the linux kernel, notably openwrt.

Cons

I created the esxi installation package with the usb fling and waited for the usb network adaptor to arrive.

I now get at least 70% of my 500mb speed that the hub receives compared to less than 10% without it.
