Quality

This router seems well designed and works well.

It’s easy to install and coverage is pretty good so far.

In re mode, its dropping in and out of signal every 3ish minutes (soft resetting itself) which also makes logging in the router...  Read More

I've factory reset it several times, only use the og power block and cord, and checked for updates and it hasn't fixed this problem.

Price

A perfect product for a great price.

Great customer service and product at a good price

Hopefully this will enable me to use this setup at a reasonable cost rather than pay something like $450 for 21 days of unlimit...  Read More

I’d kept my eyes open for a quicker, more current router, and this one was on sale for about $55.

Shipping

I would caution potential buyers that this router requires the use of a usb-c charger or powerbank that provides 12 vdc power u...  Read More

Packaging/appearance

My only "i wish" is i wish it came with a carrying case or pouch.

Competitiveness

I was doubtful of the ping, previously i used ax3000 pro, compared to the previous one, this was absolutely impressive.

I have used tp-link's predecessor to this router for several years with great results.

My system went down recently and i suspected the router being several years old might be the problem

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I have a backup that did nothing so a service person corrected an outside problem had caused the problem

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Overall its a good choice for a replacement or upgraded router

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

In each case it was relatively easy to use but the fact that most 34free34 wifi networks require a captive portal login can be cumbersome because there really arent any accepted industry standards in widepsread use for this purpose

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Sometimes you have to authenticate directly to the portal then switch networks to the travel router and clone the mac address of the device you used to authenticate

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

In any case i have not yet encountered a network that i could not access with this router even if it requires some technical calisthenics to go working at times

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I would caution potential buyers that this router requires the use of a usbc charger or powerbank that provides 12 vdc power using the power delivery protocol

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It will not work if you plug it into a usba port that only provides 5 vdc using an adapter cable
