Testing it with ipad, two laptops and two smartphones witting next to it, it is by far the slowest card ive had. Design of card makes it difficult to install aftermarket hi-gain antennas, so that is not an option.

The box on this product clearly states windows 8 compatible. The microsoft website also claims this device is incompatible with windows 8.
