Pros & Cons
Pros
No more having to hand clean out nozzles to keep colors from bleeding together. Higher on the recommended temps for bed heating and nozzle worked better. Runs best at 213 c with 80 c bed temp. Whether it's tpu, petg, pla, it just works.
Cons
Strings pretty bad, even after drying. Constantly jams in extruder, even at very low feed rates. Seems overly soft. Corners like to lift, which the printer will then hit and knock the print free of the bed.
The coating is coming off, and it does not seem to melt at the same temperature as the filament. I dislike the oily beige brown discolored black tpu 95a filament.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality filament both for thickness and durability.
This prints well, and makes nice solid rubbery objects.
Attempted to use on a bowden tube delta printer and it just squirted out the side of the extruder as expected.
This is second color and spool of novamaker petg filament i have gotten.
Price
It seemed like a good price and was a good quality product.
I would recommend this petg, the transparent green version at least, to anyone looking for easy to print and inexpensive petg.
Competitiveness
The price is lower than some of the more mainstream brands, yet the print quality i've gotten from the petg is beyond them.
The novamaker worked with bambu's (arguably too aggressive) stock profile without any additional tuning.
This will be my go to brand for tpu.
