Pros & Cons
Pros
Once unboxed, these decorations standout to be greatly sized. I wish the red printed design was a bit smaller or softer. If bothersome, a quick and easy solution is to cover the interior printed cardboard with a strip of white tape.
There’s some minor issues like strings to be cut that otherwise hang out of the bottom and some odd film i’m assuming is from when the petals were attached.
These are shiny and not matte like some available. Overall, my impression of the lamp is positive in terms of value and quality.
Easy to assemble. Support bar slides in and you position the nubs on either side into the holes. It stays in place.
Cons
The craftsmanship is bad but the cost is still lower than is probably fair to whoever made them. I ordered the sakura blossom style ones, they smell like wet dog, and they are dirty. Assembly can be a bit touch and go, the bottom rings are too small o... Read More
Highlights
Quality
They are easy to set up and the material is pretty durable.
Despite my 3 cats knocking them down a couple of times, these lanterns have proven their sturdiness.
The hoops on each end of the lamp is plastic that is lined with recycled cardboard.
It could be a plastic or rigid vinyl that has been textured to look like silk.
Price
For the money that you spend, getting 4 greatly designed decorations is truly something you can’t miss out on.
At $12 or more per lantern, recycled cardboard might become more of an issue.
I will add that at the time i ordered the lanterns, i was not expecting very much, based on the low price.
Packaging/appearance
These came sparsely protected, only using a plastic bag was risky.
They look great hanging from the celling.
These are larger than i thought they'd be, but they look great.
They don't come with lights, but you can easily add battery operated tea lights or string lights to them.
