Pros & Cons
Pros
They never need sharpening, and the serrated edge makes slicing a breeze. The micro serrated edges never loose their sharpness no matter how old they get. Was able to put an edge on it with a couple passes thru a kitchen sharpener.
The blade of the knife is on the thinner side than some. The thinness of the blade allows you to cut nice, thin, even slices. The sharpness, grip and weight makes it perfect for almost all types of vegetables and fruits.
Cons
Although these knives are sharp, and affordable; they are junk. Even now after using them since the end of august, and handwashing them, they are completely rusted over.
Highlights
Quality
Great knife sharp serrated edge, feels well blanced.
Best knife for cutting tomatoes, steak and even bread!
We got this knife in a set 20 years ago and the last one just broke.
The blade is thin and cuts through things easily.
Price
Finally i looked it up on amazon and there they were, & at a great price.
For 5 bucks a knife, there is no better than these!
I paid maybe 40 bucks for the whole block but they were the best.
Competitiveness
I have two knives by tramontina, and i use them more than some of my more expensive knives.
By comparison, my older knives have dulled a bit in their almost 30 years of service, but they are still excellent knives.
I could not find this size and sharpness in another brand
